Is Val di Fassa (Belvedere) worth it?
Val di Fassa is a valley in the Trentino Dolomites, at the foot of the Sella and Marmolada massifs, with Canazei as its main resort. From here, on the Belvedere slope, you enter the Sellaronda -- the famous circuit that lets you ski right around the Sella massif in a single day.
In our measurement from OpenStreetMap it comes to about 73 km of pistes in the valley itself, and the Dolomiti Superski pass opens access to the whole network of neighbouring valleys and to the Sellaronda. The runs are mostly intermediate, wide and sunny, framed by the distinctive Dolomite walls.
The slopes reach around 2,485 m and the valley floors drop to nearly 1,490 m; snowmaking covers almost the whole area. The season usually runs from December to April.
The price we give is a one-day adult Dolomiti Superski ticket -- €86 from the high-season rate list (checked 14 August 2026). Check prices with the operator before you travel. The drive from Poland is, per OpenStreetMap, about 1,017 km from Wrocław, 995 from Katowice and 1,071 from Kraków.
