Runs by difficulty
- blue 16.8 km
- red 16.3 km
- black 3.0 km
The split comes from OpenStreetMap. A run with no difficulty tag falls into none of the three bars, so they can add up to less than the resort total.

The colours under the axis show school-holiday traffic per week of winter 2026/2027, from the holidays chapter — the curve is a long-term average, the traffic is this one season. A green band marks a quiet week in a month with at least 70 % of the snowiest month’s snowfall. This season: 14 Dec – 20 Dec, 4 Jan – 17 Jan.
This is snowfall, not snow depth on the slope: it says how much usually falls in a given month, not how much lies there. The measuring point sits close to the valley floor, so higher up it snows more.

Is Tatrzańska Łomnica worth it?
Tatranská Lomnica is the most demanding resort in the Slovak High Tatras, below Lomnický štít -- the second-highest peak in the whole Tatra range. A cable car climbs towards the summit, and the top runs from Skalnaté pleso are among the longest and steepest on this side of the mountains.
In our measurement from OpenStreetMap it comes to about 36 km of pistes. It is not a broad system, but the vertical does the work -- alongside the easier runs lower down there are upper sections that draw skiers looking for real steepness and off-piste terrain.
The cable car reaches high into the Tatra ridges, so the snow holds well here, longer than in the lower-lying resorts of the region. The season usually runs from December to April.
The lift-pass price at Tatranská Lomnica is dynamic -- the resort sets it by day and by how far ahead you buy, cheaper in advance, so we give no single figure; check it with the operator as you book. The drive from Poland is, per OpenStreetMap, about 405 km from Wrocław, 215 from Katowice and 142 from Kraków.
