  • blue 22.7 km

This is snowfall, not snow depth on the slope: it says how much usually falls in a given month, not how much lies there. The measuring point sits close to the valley floor, so higher up it snows more.

Places to stay by the lift

Distance is measured in a straight line to the base station of the nearest lift. No booking site publishes that number — it comes from matching accommodation against lift geometry.

  • 35 within 300 m
  • 110 within 1 km
  • 318 places in the valley

The closest one stands 5 m from a lift.

What makes Folgarida-Marilleva different

Folgarida and Marilleva are not two separate resorts but two gateways from the Val di Sole into one large area — the Skiarea Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta. From either village a gondola takes you up straight from the valley station, and up top the runs link over the ridge to Madonna di Campiglio. One ski pass, not a small standalone hill you have exhausted after a day.

On this side of the valley you will count 96 runs and 27 lifts — 7 gondolas and 13 chairs, so most of the way up you ride under cover. The grading leans strongly easy: 63 blue, 22 red, 9 black. This is skiing for families and for anyone still finding their feet on wide, groomed pistes; if you want steep pitches you will find a few, but they are not why you come here.

Snow reaches Folgarida early. In the climate model November and December bring the most snowfall — about 100 cm each, more than January or February — so the ski season opens before Christmas. The stations sit above 1,600 m and hold cover into spring; January is the coldest month here, with nights around −11°C.

The pass is the Skiarea Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta, the same one that opens the slopes of Madonna. A six-day ski pass in high season costs €424 (the resort's pricelist, checked August 2026) — check prices with the operator before you travel, as they change each season. From Poland the drive into the Val di Sole runs through Austria and the Brenner: about 1,070 km from Katowice, 1,150 from Kraków, close to 1,380 from Warsaw.
