What makes Andalo-Paganella different
Andalo sits on the Paganella plateau in Trentino, at the foot of a mountain that stands over the area as a steep dome — Paganella reaches 2,125 m. From its ridge you look one way at the spires of the Brenta Dolomites, the other down onto Lake Molveno. It is one of the classic family resorts of this part of Italy: the town itself is flat and walkable, and the skiing starts just behind it.
The terrain runs to 67 slopes and 16 lifts. Most are easy or intermediate — 30 blue, 27 red and only 6 black — but the Paganella dome adds one strong note: a summit run that drops straight down the face and has hosted races. The Paganella pass also opens bonus days at Folgaria and Monte Bondone, so from one base you can look into the neighbouring valleys.
The base station stands low, about 1,000 m, and that is the weak point here: in warmer winters the snow down in the town can be thin. Higher up, near the summit, it holds better. December brings around 74 cm on average, January and February less, so the runs lean on snowmaking — check conditions before you travel. The season runs from December to April.
A six-day adult ski pass in high season costs €379 (the Paganella 2026/27 pricelist, checked August 2026), €302 outside the peak; check prices with the operator before you travel, as they change each season. The drive from Poland runs through Austria and the Brenner — about 1,040 km from Katowice, 1,060 from Wrocław, 1,114 from Kraków.
