Runs by difficulty
- blue 17.8 km
- red 23.9 km
The split comes from OpenStreetMap. A run with no difficulty tag falls into none of the three bars, so they can add up to less than the resort total.

This is snowfall, not snow depth on the slope: it says how much usually falls in a given month, not how much lies there. The measuring point sits close to the valley floor, so higher up it snows more.

Is Vogel worth it?
Vogel is a resort above Lake Bohinj, in the heart of Triglav National Park, on the Slovenian side of the Julian Alps. You reach it by cable car from the lakeshore -- no road leads to the slopes, so you leave the car in the valley and the skiing begins only at the top.
In our measurement from OpenStreetMap it comes to about 42 km of pistes, spread across a sunny terrace high above the lake. The runs are easy and intermediate, and the view of the Triglav massif and the mirror of Bohinj below matters here as much as the pistes themselves.
The slopes lie high, well above the valley, so the snow holds better than the low-lying lake might suggest. The season usually runs from December to March.
The price we give is a one-day adult ticket -- €45 from the high-season rate list (checked 14 August 2026). Check prices with the operator before you travel. The drive from Poland is, per OpenStreetMap, about 958 km from Wrocław, 812 from Katowice and 888 from Kraków.
