Runs by difficulty
- blue 89.5 km

How much snow is forecast
No snowfall is forecast for the days ahead — computed for 2,390 m above sea level.
This is a weather-model forecast, not a measurement taken on the mountain: it says how much snow is expected to fall. Forecast: Open-Meteo, CC BY 4.0. Data fetched 15 August, 05:26.

This is snowfall, not snow depth on the slope: it says how much usually falls in a given month, not how much lies there. The measuring point sits close to the valley floor, so higher up it snows more.

Distance is measured in a straight line to the base station of the nearest lift. No booking site publishes that number — it comes from matching accommodation against lift geometry.
- 4 within 300 m

The closest one stands 190 m from a lift.

Is La Rosière (Espace San Bernardo) worth it?
La Rosière sits high above the Tarentaise valley, on a sunny south-facing slope, and links over the Petit-Saint-Bernard pass to La Thuile in Italy. Together they form the Espace San Bernardo — an area where you can have lunch in France and ski the afternoon in Italy. The village's high position gives reliable snow, and the open slopes plenty of sun, but also wind.
In our measurement from OpenStreetMap the La Rosière side alone comes to about 88 km of pistes, inside the larger Espace San Bernardo. The balance leans to easy runs; it is a comfortable, family terrain, from which stronger skiers cross to the Italian side for longer, more varied descents.
The lift climbs to around 2,390 m and the village sits at around 1,830 m — high for a French resort — so snow arrives early and holds late. The season usually runs from December to April.
We give the ski pass as a six-day adult ticket for the whole Espace San Bernardo: €212 from the resort's rate list (checked 13 August 2026). Check prices with the operator before you travel. The drive from Poland: about 1,331 km from Wrocław, 1,492 from Katowice, 1,567 from Kraków.
