Runs by difficulty
- blue 4.2 km
- red 4.0 km
- black 0.2 km
The split comes from OpenStreetMap. A run with no difficulty tag falls into none of the three bars, so they can add up to less than the resort total.

This is snowfall, not snow depth on the slope: it says how much usually falls in a given month, not how much lies there. The measuring point sits close to the valley floor, so higher up it snows more.

Places to stay by the lift
Distance is measured in a straight line to the base station of the nearest lift. No booking site publishes that number — it comes from matching accommodation against lift geometry.
- 0 within 300 m
- 108 within 1 km

The closest one stands 409 m from a lift.

Is Donovaly worth it?
Donovaly sits on the pass between the Low Tatras and the Veľká Fatra in central Slovakia, away from the Tatra crowds. It is a family resort first of all -- with a large ski school, a separate children's park and gentle slopes on both sides of the pass.
In our measurement from OpenStreetMap it comes to about 9 km of pistes, served by a good number of lifts for its size. The runs are mostly easy and intermediate -- a place for learning and for cruising rather than for sporting challenges.
The slopes reach around 1,350 m and the lower ends drop to 900 m; snowmaking covers the whole area. The season usually runs from December to March.
The lift-pass price at Donovaly is dynamic -- the resort sets it by day and by how far ahead you buy, cheaper in advance, so we give no single figure; check it with the operator as you book. The drive from Poland is, per OpenStreetMap, about 435 km from Wrocław, 250 from Katowice and 188 from Kraków.
