This is snowfall, not snow depth on the slope: it says how much usually falls in a given month, not how much lies there. The measuring point sits close to the valley floor, so higher up it snows more.

Places to stay by the lift
Distance is measured in a straight line to the base station of the nearest lift. No booking site publishes that number — it comes from matching accommodation against lift geometry.

The closest one stands 40 m from a lift.

What makes Carezza different
Carezza is skied under two walls that make the place a Dolomites postcard: the Rosengarten (Catinaccio) stands above the slopes, the spires of the Latemar across the valley. At sunset the rock turns red — the enrosadira alpenglow that keeps people out for the last lift. Below the forest lies Lago di Carezza, the Karersee in German, frozen over in winter. For the Dolomites it sits close to the border: about 1,000 km from Katowice, 1,024 from Wrocław, 1,077 from Kraków.
The area itself is small and gentle. Its 65 runs — 42 blue, 17 red and only 5 black — are served by 14 lifts, a layout for families and for anyone who wants long, easy kilometres rather than steep walls. Carezza sits on the Val di Fassa–Carezza pass and on Dolomiti Superski, so when the local slopes are not enough you ski out from the same lifts into the wider valleys of the Fassa.
The base station stands at about 1,550 m, higher than many Italian plateaus, and it shows in the snow: November brings around 78 cm on average, December 80, and the cold holds into March. The season runs from early December to early April. The higher runs catch natural snow early, but the lower ones are worth checking before you travel — in warmer winters South Tyrol can eat them from below.
The ski pass is the local Carezza ticket. A high-season adult day costs €72 (the resort's official pricelist, checked August 2026), €65 in the lower season; check prices with the operator before you travel, as they change each season. For more days or hops into the neighbouring valleys you take the Val di Fassa–Carezza or Dolomiti Superski pass instead. The drive from Poland runs through Austria and the Brenner — from the south of the country about a thousand kilometres, one long day behind the wheel.
