Runs by difficulty
- blue 13.1 km

The split comes from OpenStreetMap. A run with no difficulty tag falls into none of the three bars, so they can add up to less than the resort total.

The colours under the axis show school-holiday traffic per week of winter 2026/2027, from the holidays chapter — the curve is a long-term average, the traffic is this one season. A green band marks a quiet week in a month with at least 70 % of the snowiest month’s snowfall. This season: 7 Dec – 20 Dec, 4 Jan – 17 Jan.
This is snowfall, not snow depth on the slope: it says how much usually falls in a given month, not how much lies there. The measuring point sits close to the valley floor, so higher up it snows more.

Is Szczyrk Mountain Resort worth it?
Szczyrk lies in the Silesian Beskids, between Skrzyczne and Skalite -- two peaks reached by gondolas from the middle of town. This is an old, storied venue for World Cup races that the operator GOPASS has rebuilt almost from scratch over the past decade: new gondolas, snowmaking along the full length, and linked slopes on both sides of the valley.
In our measurement from OpenStreetMap it comes to about 20 km of pistes -- a fair amount for Poland, mostly easy and intermediate, but with a few steep descents from the summit of Skrzyczne, the highest peak in the Silesian Beskids.
Skrzyczne reaches 1,257 m, so the vertical here is large for this part of Poland, and some runs drop almost to the town itself. The season usually runs from December to March.
The lift-pass price at Szczyrk is dynamic -- the resort sets it by day and by how far ahead you buy, cheaper in advance, so we give no single figure; check it with the operator as you book. The drive from Poland is, per OpenStreetMap, about 282 km from Wrocław, 87 from Katowice and 127 from Kraków.
